Scores 52 points in 2.5 quarters. Then gets taken out of the game before the 4th. Pretty amazing feat.

When you say "Someone on GS scored 50" and you have to "ask" which of the 3 players it was......you know what type of talent that team has.

MUST BE NICE....for Curry to play with DURANT and THOMPSON and all of that "gravity."

Would like to see how Curry would fair with "average replacement players" at those positions and not as much gravity. Where defenses could LOCK IN to him exclusively without having to worry about the average replacement players (vs Durant/Thompson).

I think it would be an eye opener.

He shot almost 25 to get there. Not that amazing especially when Curry/Durant draw all the attention.

14/24 isn't amazing? If getting double digit 3's on 58% shooting (purely from behind the arc) is such a mundane thing, the record would be broken every now and again. Or at least matched.

Also, watch the highlights - there was only one 3 that wasn't contested / that Klay didn't have to work for.

I get the "hate on all Warriors at all costs" mentality, but 14 3s should be commended. This isn't a Westbrook / Kobe type feat, where he got 14 on like 50 tries.

Sorry but not impressed, with the amount of defense allowed, the lack of pride guys take on playing defense, Bulls players were even watching him break the record. It’s like Kobe’s farewell game at this point. Give me 50 points in the 90s era with real defense over this. Also, the space he gets with all that talent, sorry but just not impressed. Even Harden’s 50-60 point games are like a joke with all the FTs. Very little to enjoy in today’s game, i’ll wait for the playoffs. The least interested i’ve ben in years after last year’s gift by the league to the Warriors. That series had some dog fight in them at least. It help that the Rockets stink.

I'd like to see that for Curry, Klay, or Green. They deserve their accolades. But on the flip side, there are so many great players that get no respect because they're not on stacked squads.

Out of all sports, it seems that NBA fans can't respect underdog players. Everyone loves the showboats.

If Cousins fully recovers, it could legitimately be which one of four players. Cousins has scored 50+ a few times in his career.

Just say it with me .. . . FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT RULE

EDIT: Add to the fact that the NBA has never called their illegal picks. . . . ..

Someone needs to make a video of every one of these. . .and show the plays that sprung him

Was wondering that myself. How would curry look carrying a team with Rashard Lewis and Radmonovic as his two best players or a team without any other scorers like reggies mid 90s pacers. Or klay in place of Reggie for that matter. With young klay they maxed out at 2nd round loss and a first round loss. David lee getting hurt changed history.

Don't hold your breath on that. It would be nice though, but he would probably have to take a lot more 3's than Thompson did to break it.

He won 2 MVPs without Durant, didn’t he?

Do you think Klay Thompson was a superstar back then?
