Came in with high hopes after enjoying the first one with great actions scenes, some form of a plot mixed in with witty British humour. Was disappointed with the second movie, humour was a bit crass, story line almost non existent and in typical hollywood fashion things unnecessarily over-sexualised with no added value to the movie. For me personally probably just my fault for having heightened expecations, i love myself a zero-plot, turn your brain off action packed experience (Loved John Wick) but I came into this wanting to be somewhat intellectually stimulated as with the first movie but never quite got that. original 8/10 This one 5.5/10.
so i was able to finish the last third of the movie. it was a shame because the first 2 acts were great! then then last act was a bit anticlimactic. like "that's it? that was too easy." but sucks that we won't see our favorite cast member again... the feels. as for the end... Spoiler i dunno how i feel about channing tatum being a converted kingsman. but i guess any other bigger actor to continue the franchise would be difficult (expensive). i can see the rock being in the next one somehow. i expect the third installation to feature the russians. kingsman & statesman & snowman unite!!!
