    A theory:

See the Kings see Morey's success and want to duplicate it, but they are like savages who do not understand the meaning of a more advanced civilization's actions, so they just copy the form hoping they magically work.

So the simple caveman GM (picture included below) sees Morey accumalate more Power Forwards than he could ever hope to give playing time to, then he sees him get Harden and Howard and build a championship contender. He doesn't understand the steps in between these realities, it is like magic to him. So he gathers too many power forwards, just like Morey (the very same power forwards Morey himself once accumulated, in fact) and now he is going to sit back and wait for the magic to happen.

Maybe they could have signed a small forward instead:confused:

The entire team is point guards and power forwards. ROFL

Front court is overloaded. I wonder of they would trade Cousins now?

I'm happy Landry is getting paid, but seems a little overpaid. Oh well, he got a rich offer and he's set for life

he is a young guy with probably his first significant money contract...He isnt looking for a title...he is looking to get paid just like 90% of NBA players. Period. Realistically the teams that will contend have already spent on their top dawgs...while garbage teams going no where, will continue to make dumb signings. If someone offered you a chance to be a bench player for the vet min or a chance to make close to 30 mil as a starter, i'd take the starting job and the cash. If im the superstar, ill most likely get both the cash and a chance to win. Plain and simple.

I'm just happy all our former Rockets players are being well taken care of. Thanks Sacramento!

The Kings are a joke. They keep bringing in players they don't need, players that do not even move the needle towards mediocrity much less contention.

Haha, except Morey paid closer to $26 million for all three of them put together rather than just for one.

Maybe Sacto is planning to move one of their 4's. As for Landry, it's obviously the money. I'm sorry he's missing out on the Warriors, who should have a nice team this season. Carl went for his payday.
