Thanks for that. Makes a ton of sense.

I liked Brooks when he was here. I'd like to see him back. Though I know his relationship with the team was strained when he left. I don't know if he'd be willing to come back.

There is no better option than him. Perfect back up for the Rockets style. Better question is where is his best option? I'd say 15 to 20 on a playoff team is a great option.

It's funny how every player is pretty much happy when they leave the Kings. That place must be a mess..

Who could sign him? Have the Celtics finished picking up players?

That actually makes me feel really bad for Patterson, Douglas, and Aldrich. Although, if they move to Seattle this summer, then it probably won't be nearly as bad of a situation.

We didn't want you. Or, we wanted something over you.
Now we want you back but you are going to be paid at almost the minimum and play second/third fiddle.
Yeah, that sounds appealing. I am coming right back.

Like he really has a say? He's been irrelevant since he's left.

Sounds better than being unemployed or playing for the Guangdong Tigers. We expressed interest in him before he signed with the Kings and got beat out by Mr. Irrelevant (Isiah Thomas). If he's smart and we actually extend him another offer he'd be a fool to not come back where he's had the most success especially considering he'd have a chance to get some run.

That was the peak of his NBA career.

If the deal went through, it would be because:
    1. Elvis is too good; or
    2. AB really has no market.

This is soo crazy. Just last night I was looking at AB stats and thinking he would be the perfect back up on this team. I almost started a thread but I thought it was too much of a pipedream

Love Brooks game but not if signing him back is the best choice. I guess we'll find out.

So we traded Brooks to rent Dragic and picked up a first rounder, only so that we could get Brooks again.
