Kevin McHale's daughter Sasha has passed away

Extremely sad news. I wish him and his family the best moving forward. Can't imagine what they are going through.

Yeah, they should. I want the Rockets to let McHale know that they care about him and wants to be there for him. Very sad and his daughter will be in better place.

 

Why do you say this? She passed away today. The funeral wouldn't be that quick.

If it is possible I hope the team does it. McHale may just want to be with his family right now but if it is anyway possible the team will make it happen.

There is nothing that can compare to the pain of having a child fighting for their life, I pray that I never have to bury any of my children.

My heart is grieving for Coach McHale and his family right now.

It takes a lot to bring tears to my eyes, but I'm weeping right now, I can just imagine his pain.

It takes courage to come back and coach no one knows if he will or not. But I think the clutch fans need to chill with their Mcfail postings. I hope clutch will pull all threads regarding Mchale bashing...

 

I don't think that's necessary. I agree with everyone that criticizing him in this thread was totally out of bounds, but shouldn't restrict it everywhere. Hopefully people show a bit more restraint with the personal attacks, though. These are human beings in the end, and this is just a game. Its easy to lose sight of that.
