Kevin McHale will be TNT guest analyst for Rockets-Warriors game

He's basically admitting his coaching staff is incompetent. This is why Morey should've cleaned house

 

How are people still caring about why/how McHale got fired. He was a below average coach who's one strength was apparently relationships with players... Who apparently didn't have good ones there either.

 

McHale's pretty great on TV. Wouldn't mind him replacing any of the clowns on TNT.

 

McHale is not even good as an analyst. He would fit right in with the TNT crew.

 

Tell me...do you bleed?

 

Give me an out of shape James Harden over Kevin McHale the apologist coach any day of the week. McHale owes his boost in his win % as a coach greatly to Morey and Harden and if he gets another job in the NBA as a coach it's because of how well the Rockets were put together during his tenure.

Let him take his jabs all he wants but we ALL know the truth in the matter. McHale absolutely was a big part of the Rockets piss poor excuse for a training camp and preseason. He deserved to get fired strictly based off of that. Training camp and the preseason are incredibly important and you can't let your team off the hook even if your best two players aren't 100%.

 

He use to be on tnt/nba as analyst in 2009/10

 

Yes I remember. Wasn't that big of a fan of him as analyst then. Some people think he's a good analyst.

 

He is good, massive improvement over Shaq

 

Didn't like him as an analyst or a coach and are vocal about it? Color me shocked...

 

I'll take him over Shaq. every day.

 

Saying he's better then Shaq isn't saying much. Shaq, Barkley, Kenny, etc. are mainly on there for comedy. They can't really be taken too seriously.

 

Is it hard to watch Houston?

McHale: Sometimes. I wish I was there. I felt and feel I could get the team turned around. I watch them play, I know in my heart they're better than they are(27-27). We won 56 games and went to the WCF with the same exact team. It's in there somewhere. It disguises itself as a bad team.

Unfortunately I think he's right, I mean just look at his w/l record year/year. I think he tends to have trouble with playoffs ball, but hey regular season it hasn't been this ****ty.

 

He didn't say McHale "didn't know his job", don't make something up and then say it's a bad post.
