McHale's job has never been threatened by anyone outside of strangers on the internet who just started watching the Rockets two weeks ago. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, but I guess you could go right on pretending this is some sort of deceit on his part to "save his job." Terrible. Just terrible.
Wow I hope everything is OK back home. People really shouldn't be joking about this. It is a serious matter.
Yowch, sounds pretty serious. Regardless of people's opinions of him as a coach, this sounds really serious. Best wishes to him and his family. Guess we're in limbo until we find out if this is going to be just a hiccup or something more long-term.
At his age (54) it's likely a parent or other older relative who doesn't have long to live. This stuff is always such a bummer.
Shame on those of you that are bashing McHale like this. I don't care if its other topics and Yes he has been a terrible coach as of late for not able to utilize Harden's talent but this is his personal problem with his family. As bad of a coach he has been, he is still a human being with a family. I just hope everything is okay and wish the best for Kevin McHale and his family.
