    Coach McHale was on Sportstalk 790 today. Here is the link.

    He talks about pre-season, the effort to trade for Howard, Omer, Jones & the Rookies and Lin. Starts at the beginning the 4 minutes mark & goes up till the 24 minutes mark. Pretty interesting stuff.

    Morey was also on the the Big Show as well.

    Don't know if anybody has been keeping up with Rocketscast but I have. I look forward to them on a weekly basis. They talk about last nights game & pre-season & the players and team. Also said that McHale still has yet to put in his full play book because they were going slowly with the young guys. Makes total sense.

    Thanks for posting!

    -He said we had a lot of young assets last year when we were trying to make moves. Oh no, he said "assets!"
    -When he plays a lot of rookies together, the other team gets excited. They really need some veteran presence at all times.
    -Terrance Jones separated himself in the summer and has earned some more playing time than the other guys.
    -Morris was looking good before his injury.
    -DMo, Royce, Lamb, and Morris will all get their chance.
    -Asik is awesome.
    -Lin just needs to relax and not try to hit the homerun every time.

    Omer lost 20 lbs, from 295 to 275 in 2-3 months according to McHale. The Rockets should share his weight loss plan as there are many 295 lb+ Houstonians who can use it.

    If Houstonians would grab every rebound they see in their day-to-day lives, they, too, would lose 20 pounds.

    Is Morris all healed up yet? I remember they were trying to give him minutes before he got injured and he admittedly looked a bit more competent than he had last year, so I'm curious.
