One of the most arrogant, disgusting posts from someone who has very obviously never had any personal experience with tragedy on that level. And you are going on a post bonanza about how someone else lacks class? Ugh...

No one came into camp in shape in the 80s.

Harden twisted his ankle in the 4th or 5th preseason game.

Everybody knew Harden came into camp over weight and out of shape, in which I might add is unacceptable period. Especially when you have admiration to be the best to ever play this game, and you want to prove to the world that you were the true MVP.

And did anyone watch any of the pre-season games. If you did you would know he injured his ankle around the 4th or 5th preseason game.

But clearly whether it's sprained or broken there is a reason why he came in out of shape and his playing has been off. Instead of the suggestion that he is lazy and didn't care.

he sprained it at the Drew league, unless you're referring to another sprain, which I don't recall...game log shows he played every preseason game.

Is it normal to get fat when you sprain an ankle?

I already had this conversation with another poster in the other Mchale TNT thread (not sure why we have a duplicate thread)...bottom line, he's a vet now and has the tools to know how to adjust his eating. He didn't use them. His sprain also healed months ago...wasn't even a very serious sprain to begin with.

If you are a professional athlete being payed millions? Certainly shouldn't be. I doubt Harden has ever calorie counted or checked his carb intake in his entire life.

Harden said he sprained it late in the offseason. Not sure if he was talking about preseason or not he could have re-injured it we don't know.

Overweight and fat aren't necessarily the same thing.

    preseason isn't off season :p

I know for a fact he sprained it before camp. Like i said, he played all preseason..i doubt they let him play 30 mins on a sprained ankle...

I know we talked about it in a thread here, when it happened in the summer...it wasn't widely reported, but someone found a tweet or something. i also remember we brushed it off because he was in public and he didn't seem to have trouble on it or something like that...wish i could remember the thread..
