Kevin Love intentionally steps on Luis Scola's face

Even T-Mac (who everyone thinks is a huge fragile p***y) went after Matt Barnes and Steve Nash during that scrum when Barnes elbowed Rafer.

Scola has a knack of attracting dirty, scumbag plays from the opponent it seems (remember Derek Fisher?).

I will never admire Love again after watching the double sucker punch he put on Scola. Too bad Stern hates Houston much more than the johnnycomelatelys.

He will not do a thing to our new wonderful white superstar, don't think so.

I had a huge amount of hope after watching Love and his skills, especially this crazy season. This attitude will come back around. He will get his eventually.

Luis Scola is a REAL man. I am not going to be a happy camper the day Scola is traded. I want my whole team to give the effort he brings every night.

How many of any type of person would not try to take him out after seeing him plant the size 15 on his noggin., suspension or not....

Love went to the locker room and personally apologized to Scola. It was a mistake, get over it. It happens. Doesn't mean he's cheap or dirty. Isolated incident.

He didn't exactly hold his legs, bug he tripped over his arms. I don't think it was intentional. The only thing I do question is why is Love trying to step over him in the first place.

 

You truly need to watch that video again. Start at the :40 second mark when they show the play in slow motion. Love uses a SHORT stride, not a normal step. Scola has his hands up but Love is looking down and the front part of his foot lands directly on Scola's chin bouncing his head off the court. Love had actually already turned and looked down at Scola before he even picks his foot up. He could have easily avoided the whole incident if he really wanted too. Love's leg may have gotten caught up in Scola's arm and contact was inevitable but if he truly didn't mean to step on him with the intent to harm he wouldn't have completed the actual step as if he was stepping on ground by planting his foot like that. You could tell Love was frustrated, he felt like he got fouled on the previous play and then blatantly fouls Scola causing him to go to the ground. Bravo to the refs for doing such a stand up job during that sequence.

 

Good. I think Love regretted what he did the moment after he did it. You could see that he was almost avoiding eye contact with Scola the rest of the game. Probably pretty embarrassed about it, as he should be.

I hold no grudge against Love, but of course it was intentional. Sorry but only a moron thinks otherwise.

 

So what! He just did it because his coaching staff and stuff told him to so Stern says "look, he apologized. No further actions will take place"

 

How so?

Scola could have been paralyzed.

If Love got paralyzed, he'd have plenty of time to reflect on what he did.

Still think he's a dirty piece of crap though.
At least he regretted it (or he's just trying to talk his way out of suspensions and this is just a huge PR stunt).
