Has anyone mention that they lost there chemistry and just added a super star. There bench is so weak with West, Zaza, and Iggy, they have no shooters on the the bench. I see them losing out to spurs in western confrence finals. Has anyone mention pau freakin gasol is now on the spurs lineup, i take my chances with spurs..

The Rockets will finish them off before they reach the Spurs. Then the Rockets will beat the Spurs to reach the finals and beat the Bucks.

I am willing to bet KD is going to be forgotten by history in 20 years.

Breh... that's too long of a time for a bet.

Imagine someone Meganecrobump this thread to specifically call out your bet in 2036.

Yea...this league is f$%^ed...once they figure things out on offense...they just wont be stopped. Im going to make a prediction that the Warriors will be in contention for the highest team scoring average in NBA history.
    1981-1982 Denver Nuggets (126.48 PPG)

They are going to just flat destroy some teams in the league. Hoping that they miss Bogut more than expected...

they're just too good. give them the trophy now.

i predict they'll win everything this season, the superbowl, world series, world cup, f1 grand prix, motogp, wimbledon, and pga tour.

Just like with The Heat they will win some and lose some.

I think they could do it as well but I feel like the starters are going to end up sitting many fourth quarters because of huge leads which will prevent them from accomplishing that.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Warriors lost to decent teams.

Man... He really did not help himself on that Bill Simmons piece. You're weak because you joined the team (best ever in history) that came back down 3-1, in large part thanks to you, to send your ass packing home. Can you guys imagine what we would've said about Jordan if he joined the Pistons after all those playoff series of getting owned? I have yet to hear anyone justifiably defend Durant against this argument. Soft. Uncompetitive. Cares about his image more than anything at this point. He seems like the kind of guy who's so scared of losing a 2k game, that he turns all the sliders up to guarantee the win.

If he cared about his image, he wouldn't have gone to the Warriors. Obviously the backlash would be bigger than even that which LeBron faced. Maybe winning a championship will improve his image like it did with LeBron, but at least LeBron had the excuse to leave due to playing for a terribly run franchise in Cleveland.

I don't have a problem with Durant leaving. If you work at a firm that keeps losing big client acquisitions to a better firm, would anyone have a problem with you quitting and going to the other firm? I fail to see the difference; he found a better job. It's just the soap operaness of sports that makes it seem like he's some sort of turncoat. He wants the best job available in his field, and he took it.

I should have used legacy rather than image.

I like your analogy, but in this case, Durant works at a firm that has paired him with one of the best young lawyers in the game, and has recently devoted a lot of resources (Kanter, Waiters, Oladipo trade, etc) to show him that they are right on par with a legendary firm that has broken record cases in the past year. They had a chance to steal what could have been the case of the century, but Kevin dropped the ball. He then leaves said firm to go join the competitor that just beat him, despite being partially responsible for the loss that his firm full well could have won if he did what he was paid the big bucks to do.

    Ok that went really far...

Well, we could take it further and say that that young lawyer takes a lot of unnecessary risks when preparing a defense, doesn't always work well in a team environment, and may let his emotions and personally created aura of invincibility cloud his judgement...but yeah, going a bit far now.

I guess it comes down to how much value you put on loyalty your employer. If a better job comes along, I'm taking it. It might be different if Durant was the founding partner, but he's just an associate.
