How did the clippers get all this money to spend on guys. Stern must be getting some kickbacks or something.
More of a chance he plays than with the Heat.... Good pickup by Clippers... Lob City/Putback Slam City..... still wont make WCF
Made the most sense for everyone involved, makes them a contender with the added frontcourt depth imo.
Reggie Evans is the typical player that you'll hate if he plays for a different team, but that you'll love if he playing for your team.
Blake Griffin is who people thought Kenyon Martin was. Only seems natural that he wants to ride his coat tails.
Chris Paul is great, but I still think the Clippers are overrated. And Kenyon Martin definitely doesn't change that.
He averaged 19 & 10 in the PLAYOFFS in '03 and '04, in his 2nd and 3rd year. One of those an NBA Finals appearance. So it looked like "star in the making", why Denver gave him a massive contract. Though really he's been a more athletic thug version Christian Laettner.
I'm sure Billups' presence on the Clips had more than a little to do with KMart's decision. Good for them. The Rox got ****ed so we could have the Clips show. Except for last night when they played game 4 in five days, it's been fun to watch.
Awesome Signing, great signing - another vet with solid playoff experience. Heat and Bulls are targeting Pryzbilla too, Clips desperately need another capable 7 footer if they wanna compete. They should get Pyzbilla too.
Their main problem is that their main scorer, Griffin, can't get points without being set up AND he doesn't shoot well enough to space the floor.
I hear you and this will be a problem in a playoff series against a good defensive team. But that's where CP3 (plus Butler and Billups) step in. If healthy, the Clips have a good chance to make the Finals. I don't see anyone but OKC or Denver beating them in a series. If Mo Williams doesn't choke like a dog in the playoffs and shoots the ball well, maybe they should be the favorite.
