The Rox wouldn't? How much are we paying Mo and Cato?

Good point..I would hopefully think that the Rox have learned their lessons from that.

Before anyone jumps in and says this is the Wrong Forum, I'd just like to point out that the rules of the GARM allow us by definition to talk about ex-Rocket Tracy Murray, so Kenny Thomas is well within the parameters of this Forum.

    Thank you.

    :)

man. 50 mil for Kenny Thomas? I guess his being apart of the Rox organization is rubbing off on the 76ers causing them to make dumb cap moves

Sixers must be desperate to pay KT that kind of jack.

Thomas is an EXTREMELY underrated player, and I think 7 years, $50 million is a very reasonable price for him.

Only if he ever learns how to knock down a 18-20 footer with consistency. Once he learns that, I would agree that contract is worth it. All the rest of his game is pretty good.

what is wrong with 76'ers? Can K Thomas get more than MLE any where this year? To me, it is plain stupid decision. They will look at him exactly the same way we look at Taylor and Mochiee now.

It is 50 mil over 7 years. Thus I think the starting point is less than a million from the MCE. I think the starting salary is reasonable--but the contract length should have been at most 5 years IMO. But good for Kenny, glad he got it.

I still wish KT was in a Rockets uniform, but I'm glad he got paid. The Rockets never would have been able to give him that kind of cash.

The Sixers will realize they overpaid once again for a role player. They did it with Buckner, did it with Mutombo and now they're doing it with Thomas. No way Thomas should get more than Artest,Malik Rose or Corliss. It really doesn't surprise me from King, but he needs to go.
