I liked him a long long time ago. Yeah, he's a horrible defender but at least he can finish and rebound, which none of our other current options can do right now.

Why is he horrible on defense? Is it simply about effort or does he misread things, gamble on passes, etc?
Nice get. I'm curbing my enthusiasm because he hasn't been a consistently quality NBA guy in 3-4 years, but he does seem to be an excellent fit for this team.
@heypartner or @BimaThug Just to be clear, with all these buyout pick ups and vet minimum contracts (and/or whatever House signs); we are likely to lose a bunch of pieces next year correct? Assuming say Rivers and House play as they are (and for Faried anywhere close to what we hope), then the MLE can’t cover 2 of these players? Ennis I don’t think has showed anything to think he can’t be a vet min again. But assuming Faried and Rivers can command more than $3 million next year, then we pretty much can only keep one? Knight might be held onto until next year as trade bait because we may need players again and $14 million expiring and a first round pick ain’t bad as a trade package...EDIT: though I guess most of the players we would be chasing would expire same as Knight (i.e. Bazemore)
If Tariq Black can play well with Harden, Faried will do a great job. At least Faried can give Capela a real rest, unlike Nene being able to play every other day and 12 to 15 minutes only, which is ridiculous. Faried Rebounding, Switching, Alley Oop Slam, is a welcome sight. At least the Rockets got a bench piece, need more Small Forwards.
