KD has the physical tools to develop a Dirk-like post game. He would be unguardable if he added weight to him or get stronger in his legs. If he gets that strength he won't be guarded by Chris Paul or Tony Allen.

I don't really understand this obsession to turn players into big men. Newsflash: the game has changed, speed and skills are more valuable now than raw brute strength. Will KD be more devastating if he bulks up and starts scoring in the post as a PF? Maybe...but tbh there are already a ton of good to great PFs in the league, why not just stick to being the elite perimeter scorer he already is? There aren't a lot of SFs who can hit 3's and score all over the court the way he does at his efficiency, putting on weight and scoring in the low post takes away that skillset and can put him at risk, instead having long careers like say Ray Allen or Reggie Miller, he'll be banging in the low post with no-names who want a piece of the MVP.

What I (and probably a lot of people) find crazy though is it is Kendrick Perkins giving this "advice" to KD, maybe if he took his own advice and worked out more then maybe he'd get more than 5 rebs a game. Dude shoots a worse percentage than WB and he's center with no jumper to speak off.

Durant hit the gym hard this off season. Bulk up and work on his post game. Only to watch Westbrook jack up 30 feet 3pointer one after another when the season begins. Lol.

i dont think KD's body type will adapt to putting on mass that weight. he is in some ways kinda like tmacs build. i think he has a certain finesse in his game, that would go away if he put on weight.
