Perk knows OKC is getting too heavy for KD to carry at his current strength. He's just looking out for Durant.

Kevin Durant does not need to gain weight. He rebounds just fine and can develop a post game without gaining weight.

    Ever heard of this guy:

No kidding. I can't believe that he said that for public consumption. The dude should look to himself, not the MVP!

Idk if Durant putting on weight is a good thing for his career. Lanky, long guys like him are made to move and jump better than most their height, putting on the added weight may put too much strain and pressure on those joints. McGrady's body started faltering when he put on weight that last year in Orlando, same with D Wade's transformation in Miami post Shaq-era.

Bulking up with muscle will probably help most athletes. More muscle = more explosiveness. If you're referring to bulking up with fat, then that can slow down a player. Hard to bulk up with muscles without gaining some fat, though.

Plus, if you bulk up by hitting the gym, your bones also adopt to the changes of your muscle development, ie, bones get stronger. The question is, how much can your bones genetically adopt to your muscle development? IMO, that is the problem with Yao's situation.

    That said, STFU, Perkins!

Yeah, it's not so much a problem of insulting her, but if she died 25 years ago, she's definitely not fat at this point. You want to be accurate, bro.

Why is everyone taking this as an insult? He's just saying if he bulks up, it should help his game.

Because his body had ****ty alignment. Lifting weights with bad alignment is basically lifting with bad form. Lifting, itself, wasn't the cause of his injuries.
