OK, I heard on the radio today that Ken Caminiti got caught doing something stupid or wrong or something. Everyone said he's basically a good guy, but very easily lead off track and got caught up in a bad crowd.

Question: Does anyone know what he did wrong? I waited for someone to say what it was exactly he did, but they just kept debating whether or not he's a bad guy for doing the alleged act or something.

He got arrested for coke possession. He's had a drug problem and has smoked weed for as long as I can remember (no that it's bad or anything). The article was posted in this forum sometime last week. I am too lazy to get it.

Caminiti exposed baseball's steroid problem. Like Canseco, he told the truth. Nobody wanted to hear it.

Being addicted to drugs is a disease. Nobody is bad for it. And that includes Steroids. It's not something you have control over. The drug takes the drug, not the person. But cheating the game was the end result and cheating the other players in the game is still wrong. I wouldn't include him in the Hall of Fame myself on that alone. But we can still like the guy.

One of my buddies in high school lived across the street from Caminiti in Richmond after he had retired from baseball. He would come over from time to time and get drunk with us. We all thought it was awesome at the time but looking back now it was actually kinda creepy.

The amount of steroids he took was insane -- his stories blew me away.

Yes: Caminiti belongs in the Astros Hall of Fame.

    End Story.
