Barr would probably be the better choice if you're running a 3-4.

We absolutely need to keep Kubiak. The less available openings for Sumlin the better.

    That's pretty selfish.

I hope Sumlin comes this spring

ya, a 12-4 squad that was 11-1 and had 4 games to secure homefield advantage but completely CHOKED, in large part due to the ineptness of Schaub. kubiak doesn't get paid to tell us what we already know (schaub can put up decent stats.... errr, used to put up decent stats), he gets paid to put the best product on the field to help the team win. if schaub doesn't get injured then keenum doesn't see the light of day.

if you "can't take [Major] seriously" then that means you're out over your ski tips to begin with. go back to the kiddie pool.

The head coach job is so stressful, specially, the team is not winning right now. I hope the doctors just order him to take a break. Overall, football is just a game, some people just take it too seriously.

First 12 games of last year: 11-1
In the 12 games since then: 3-9

    That's a hard fall.

I honestly don't think we need Clowney. Antonio Smith and Watt are fine ends. We need to resign Antonio, cut Schaub, draft a backup.

I'm telling you guys, Kahlil Mack is a perfect fit for this team. He's a hell of a playmaker (destroyed Ohio State while playing for lowly Buffalo), and I believe he can play inside or outside. He'll fall right about where we're drafting, too.

I only played college football, so I probably do not know what I'm talking about. Coaches are meant for keeping the team together(he has through rough times).

I thought it was play calling this year, but nope it was the QB.

Sweep the special teams out the door.

Get rid of qb. Draft a stud on defense.

I'm fine with bringing back Kubiak but i won't be upset if he's let go. But for the love of god please don't let him go to Jacksonville and build a winner. That would be horrible.

The only thing i'm behind 100% is firing Marciano. How the hell has this guy been here since day 1. SMDH:eek:

Clowney is not the answer... Texans can win as long as Schaub and Bullock is gone....

Through 8 seasons, Jack Del Rio had a better record as head coach of the Jaguars than Kubiak does in his 8 with the Texans.

Let that sink in for a minute.

I know its a sensitive subject in the wake of Kubiak health issues, but he needs to be let go. He's crumbling under the pressure mentally and now physically. Bad choices, being overly loyal to undeserving staff and players, etc. have slowly killed this organization. START OVER. If you look back over the last part of last year to now, you really can't be too surprised the Texans are in the position they are in. They never were a legit Super Bowl team with Kubiak and Schaub and now its painfully obvious.
