What about the shooting percentages, turnovers, blocks and other stats like FT? Harden missed 5 crucial free throws in game 6.

I doubt any other player would continue to play after getting raked in the eye and barely able to see for a game and a half. The man had blood draining from an eye..... Geeze.

What does that have to do with missing FTs in game 6?

More than that, the Rockets performed as well as Toronto on offense, with far less talent in the top 2-8.

100x is hyperbole. He means that Kawhi is better.

I think not 100x but in this year's Playoffs there is no doubt who is the better player.....but just in this year's Playoff tournament.

    No excuses.

And it is not about stats as Playoff Harden's stats are still very good. He does not always pass the Eye Test.

Who has taken it to the next level when the team needed their star the most?

    Come Playoff time pretty easy.

Nobody is denying that Harden is the best player in the Regular season, best Offense player for sure. Even Alltime.

Come playoffs, the more complete player will prevail though.

That said, there is still time to work on his game.

Bunch of narrative dudes in this thread right now. Also dudes who dont like context or nuance. Or just dudes whove always hated Harden..so they feel this is there chance.

This. There are a bunch born again Raptor fans in the house. I don't know what they are getting out of the Raptors beating an injured Warriors squad as Rockets fans.

Ironically, there are also a bunch of born again Warriors fans on this site also. Now they get the injury excuse all of a sudden from Rockets fans? Everyone here is trying to write their own narrative with their own biases.

Kawhi gets it EVERY YEAR for everything he does. He loses he was hurt. He fakes an injury, quits and sits 73 games, he was hurt. He refuses to play and asks for a trade because the Spurs didn't realize how hurt he felt. Hell the Raps are winning and..... Oh Kawhi is limping and he is hurt. My bad I guess the injury excuse belongs to Kawhi.

The vast majority of fans outside of California want the Raptors to win this series.

Personally, I like a bunch of the players on that Raptors team, I like the personality and demeanor of that team, and I've been rooting for them to be successful over pretty much every other team in the league outside of the Rockets.

Can’t be because the Raptors were not that good one or two seasons ago.

Anyone that can end a mini dynasty is welcome, could have also been Philly or the Bucks.

We are Rocket fans but the B-ball Almighty might not be. No horse in the race but the best dark horse.

For all intents and purposes Harden essentially quit in game 6 of the spurs series a few yrs ago. I said it then and I still say it today - I haven’t forgiven him for that. It’s shocking that so many on here have.

Or losing game 5, for that matter.

No one is blaming Harden for the game 2 loss, where he was actually affected by the eye thing. The real lost opportunities were games 1, 5, and 6.
