Gasol Green Siakam Harden Lowry Vs Capela PJ Kawhi Eg Cp There actualy are some lunatics that would pick the first team?
Think about Rockets defense... and letting CP run some human system with multiple scoring options every possesion. And in clutch you got mr robot. Meanwhile i can see Siakam missing 27threes straight from the corner
It's quitting when the pay you $20mil to sit 73 games. He got all they credit when they won. Zero blame when they lost. The Spurs protected this cat for years.
Kawhi will demand to miss 25 games a year or his uncle will demand a trade no matter how much your paying him. CP3 will miss 30 games a year because he's 87 years old. Gordon will miss 15 games a year as well and that will be coupled with at least 2 prolonged shooting slumps every year. PJ still can't finish over size in the lane. Capela will go Capillow and forget how to dunk, shoot FTs or even catch the damn ball when you least expect it. On the other side you left out Ibaka, Van Vleet, Powell, Anonouby etc....
Harden is a HOF'er and an All-Time great. And that's fantastic. It's not his fault that Kawhi is in that MJ/LeBron stratosphere. Very few players are.
Kawhi has the benefit of having SEVERAL playmakers who don't shy away from the moment. Their role players are legit. What's telling to me is that everyone of them has a bigger green light than what I see at times from CP. I love CP but he's got to let it fly. Tucker... we were at our best at times when he was able to play make in the paint (within himself obviously). Clint - I think the next evolution in his game is getting regular touches outside of a lob pass. EG was what we needed this past season. Honestly, I think our starting roster is almost there, just need a system that allows Tucker, Clint, Faried, Rivers to do some more playmaking - even if it's just a few more dribble handoffs.
This is Kawhi's first deep playoff run in 5yrs and people are comparing him to MJ/Lebron - on what basis? MJ won 6 finals MVP and Lebron appeared in 8 consecutive finals Since the 2014 Finals MVP (on a stacked team that had Duncan, parker and Manu) 2015 - Lost 4-3 to CP3+Griffin Clippers 2016 - Lost 4-2 to Durant OKC in conf semis 2017 - Lost 4-0 to GS in Finals (was injured in Game 1) 2018 - Injured 2019 - If the shot against Philly hadnt gotten a lucky bounce, Kawhi would be watching the finals from home. If GS werent depleted by injuries, series would have likely been over by now. They say its better to be lucky than to be good, and Kawhi has been lucky this year. Lets see him deliver repeatedly before comparing him to Kobe, talk less of MJ or Lebron
I'm only comparing this season, because it's all that matters at this point in time. Nobody cares what happened 5 years ago. 31 ppg on 50/40/90 splits + good defense, hard carrying his team to a championship. This might be one of the best individual post-seasons of all-time.
Could you imagine Kawhi taking one shot in the last 7 minutes of a winnable playoff game? Against GS? Harden plays for his numbers while Kawhi plays for championships. Have yet to see Kawhi pout or mope around at halfcourt because somebody else has the ball
Because of his size and strength he seems to be able to get his shot easier than more normal sized humans like curry and harden
