That guy's delusional if he thinks the Hornets will take back RJ in a Kaman deal. All signs point to Houston at this point.

The problem with the Rockets situation is they should consolidate non rotation pieces with some value (Thabeet, Budinger, Twill, etc.) into one rotation piece.

They can do it without losing core players which improves the team, but they can only do it once. Blowing it on Kaman, takes a move for Wallace, Iggy, Granger off the table due to salary matching issues.

I see the Kaman deal as Plan C, if nothing else pans out with better players.

The way Dalembert has been playing lately, a 2nd round pick for the guy wouldn't hurt

I don't fall over making the deal today, but if no game-changing deal is happening, pull the trigger on it closer to the deadline.

Kamen + Sammy is a solid center rotation to roll with.

Gordon is becoming just as injury prone as Martin was at the beginning of his career.

I'd still make the trade though, the guy is a great shooting guard (I'd say top 10 even) and has a lot of miles left given a strong healthy season here and there.

he has played as well as pau in the games the commissar has given him permision to play. He is also younger than pau, though pau has sexier hair.

my mauryball machine has returned this data to me...
giving up less for Caveman > lowry for Gasol.

time for commissar stern to remove maury from his blocked email list.

luis scola and kevin martin for kaman and gordon..i dont see why the hornets would do this. they are getting themselves in longterm contract of scola and martin, lose the salary benefits of kaman's expiring..as well as their only "star" player eric gordon...even if he is always injured.

if im the rockets i do this. it gives us great cap relief..GREAT cap relief..and also gives us a chance to take a good look at eric gordon who will fit very nicely with kyle lowry.

New Orleans will not be able to afford Gordon this summer.

Why in the world would Stern trade away the player he wanted more than Martin and Scola for Martin and Scola? That isn't happening.

Even if Gordon was traded it would be for expiring contracts and multiple draft picks. NOLA wants no long term salary.

I don't see New Orleans dealing Eric Gordon unless he or his agent tells them that he won't resign (either take a max offer somewhere else that N.O. won't match, or take the qualifying offer and bolt next summer). Even then, I'm sure they could get a better offer for Gordon and Kaman. It is nice to dream, though.

Are you intentionally mispelling Morey's name as a slight or do you not know how to spell his name?

Maybe Kaman will start a fire under Sammy. Or make drawings of him.
