Downloaded off of Itunes and cycled through all the episodes twice already. Enjoy show, agree that Walton Goggins is doing the best acting job; and the dirty filthy father is definitely growing on me. Assume they'll have to kill either Dad or Ava Crowder for season finale. And glad to see William Ragsdale still in the game, Herman's Head was one conspicuously memorable show (Ross's first wife on Friends, Yeardley Smith and Hank Azaria's only live action starring roles.)

This surprised me, considering how bad it's doing in the ratings. I like the show.. but people are tuning out... it started off with 4m+ viewers.. and hit a season low with just 1.8m viewers just last week.

 

1.8 mil for a cable show doesn't sound bad.

 

His sermon in the church was impressive.

 

Great show. I have been hooked since the first episode. I don't usually watch FX so I had no idea about this show, but happened to see a web ad the day before the series premier and the idea of a modern day gun slinger caught my attention. Glad I watched.

 

The season ended a lot better than it started. The last couple of episodes were really good. The season finale tied the first season together perfectly.

 

I thought the season was great from start to finish. Saying it didn't start well is odd considering the first episode set the table for all the ongoing story lines that came together in the last few eps.

I was not that thrilled with the ending though, kind of an odd "cliffhanger".

 

I thought it was a pitch perfect ending, especially when the Brad Paisley (or whoever) song started at the end. This episode had a high body count as well. What will Johnny's fate be, many other questions come to mind as well? Can't wait for season 2.

 

It was a good finale, and the show hasn't lived up to the potential (given the acting talent), but it's decent. For me, the best episode was when Timothy Olyphant did the hostage negotiations with the convict. Great acting, great original dialogue. It showed what the show could be.

Hubby and I are giving this a shot...pretty good so far...the only thing is keeping me to watch it is Timothy.

Nothing like Nip/Tuck though...miss that show.

 

too many people died at the end.. who's left to be in season 2?? at least, they should have kept bo crowder.. the relationship between him and his son would have been fun to watch in future seasons.

Watched the whole 1st season over the weekend, love it, thought it was well written and acted. Can't wait for season 2.
