You can look this way: Westbrook is more flawed than Curry. Fair? Also, Curry's peak is a supernova, versus Westbrook's mere mortal superstar. Curry's style of play is unguardable when turned on. Peak performance is more frequent and consistent. Curry practically never had shot dubs out of a game, maybe not even once this season (as in, when he shot bad, they either still won or otherwise wasn't close to winning anyways). Splash shooting proved to be the most unfair skills in the game. 15pt in 2min, 37pt in a quarter. Etc You are never out of a game when you know multiple 3s can drop in the blink of an eye, some even reliably launched from near the half court logo.... Hence, the Warriors can play confident no matter the score. They can demoralize far more than the overpowering type wing/guard play, where long defenders + rim protectors can neutralize the power play, no one can neutralize supernova, lightning quick bombing from deep. So for me, Curry over WB all day.
A defending champ and two time MVP coming off a record breaking regular season is cocky? How dare he!
Harden has one bad game in the playoffs, 13 turnovers - deemed playoff choker Curry has multiple 8+ turnover games in the playoffs including a 11 turnover game - greatest player to step on the hardwood
Curry's antics weren't appealing but it was hardly the worst most hatable thing a player in the NBA has done. Even on his own team, Green, and Bogut do far more hatable things and play the game in a dirtier more annoying way than Curry. I am against the Warriors, and I don't buy into Curry being the NBA darling, but it's hardly anything that would make him the most hated NBA player now and especially of all time.
Curry is annoying with his arrogance on the court. I have no problem with him off the court, but those non chalant moments on it make me want to Motiejunas him legit. Thompson ok.
So i just looked at nba.com for Curry's stats in all playoffs and he's only had one 8 turnover game a few years ago. More than likely you were looking at assists. In conclusion, Curry haters are stupid.
Curry does have a relatively high TO rate due to the way he plays. But the one 8-turnover game is a clear outlier.
Guess who did have multiple 8+ TO games? http://www.basketball-reference.com...&c3val=&c4stat=&c4comp=gt&c4val=&order_by=tov
Where is this "so-called" 11 turnover game you're referring to? Are we sure you're not talking about Harden? Cause he's the player with 3 of the Top 5 most TO's in the playoffs in recent history....
