    Not a bad dream and not totally impossible.

    Fact 1, he will be a free agent.
    Fact 2, he has stated he'd like to play with Scola.

    btw, I have the same dream. :)

    I think he would be a good fit coming off the bench, but how will he get minutes when we already have battier, ariza, martin, and bud? Maybe if we move Battier in a deadline deal

    Well, he just don't care about minutes, he just focuses on what team needs, if that doen't makes him a great adition to any team i don't know what does.

    I'd take him for the MLE, if he's willing to accept it. Battier would obviously be moved, but that's why we got Ariza

    I would love to have Manu. He is tough gritty and plays hard just like his teammate Scola

    So if that went through, who do you take out of the rotation? It sounds wonderful, but I'm wondering who's out. Honestly, I'm hesitant to say that i'd take Budinger out. Perhaps if we take out Battier or Ariza through a trade, then he fits well.

    Brooks/Lowry
    Martin/Manu
    Ariza/Budinger
    PFs to be named later
    Yao/Andersen/Hayes

    I just wouldn't want to do a long term deal.

    Manu is 32 right now, i think he could accept a 2 year deal just to play with Scola.

    He's good, but he's also a flopper that I despise.

    Give me another 20 games, and I might reconsider.

    Right now, your "dream," is more of a nightmare for me! :)

    He plays for the good guys. :)


    Manu flops whenever someone breathes on him. Scola flops when he takes a shoulder to the chest.

    To me, there's a difference.

    Wow... I thought he was older. Certainly looks older.

    I am not sure I would want Manu. I think he is great, but Rockets are just so jinxed regarding injuries that he seems like too much of a gamble.

    Honestly, I think the term "Flopper" pretty much sums up our entire team. Even out 7'6" Center tries to flop a few times a game. I just hate the ones that are obvious to the eye.

    I have always despised Manu, I guess because he's on the Spurs and always seems tough, gritty, and clutch. Especially when we play them.

    Sooooo....if he was ever in a Rockets uniform, I don't see myself having any problem greeting him and his bald spot with open arms.

    That's prett much what every non spur fan thinks about Manu, i hate him on the spurs but i will love him on my team. :grin:
