    lets stop this argument ....

saying a "healthy t-mac" is an oxymoron.

I wonder how good he'll be when he comes back.

But yeah, it's pretty cool knowing that the Rockets are one of the top teams in the league, even without McGrady.

With him (or whoever we get for him), we can be even better (that is, if he's healthy and can return to at least 85%ish of the tmac of the past)..though we're not sure what we'll be doing in the offseason with regards to the rest of our roster (Artest, Wafer, etc.).

Maybe it's because Yao Ming did something he has not done in 10 years?

The T Mac the Rockets need is history, literally. The new T Mac is a fraction of the old T Mac (but with all the drama), yet he'll still demand a max or near max contract extension. To that, we should all say - No Thank You.

Well, while that's true, you can't say this isn't the same teams that T-Mac got to work with. I don't even know who the 2nd option was in last year's playoff match with the Jazz.

    Really, who was it?

T-Mac...he probably deserves most of hate we see, especially for what he did (and didn't do) this year, but he's still a great player and one of the few that make the game look really easy.

Again, a 06-08 T-Mac is an asset to this team.

So what do most people think about Odom? I dont think i've heard much about acquiring him via FA...i'm not saying he'd definitely work out, just curious as to how most fans feel...and i mean how they feel on a basketball level, not as laker haters..

What we need is another elite SG, probably Wade, Roy or even Hamilton but NOT Tmac.

It's pretty obvious that T-macs skill when healthy could match kobe's.

It'd be nice to have Tmac regain his form and give this big 3 thing another chance but...even though Tracy is my favorite he has a tedency saying things that are not true.

    Patience is key.

Wade would be nice in 2010 FA but that's not next season that's AFTER next season. Hamilton played HORRIBLE against the cavs. At this point I don't want any of the pistons players on the current team. LOL at you thinking the Blazers would give Roy.

    Candidates would be:
    Ben Gordon
    Danny Granger
    JJ2
    Caron Butler

Any of those would be nice, I'd have to think about Joe though, he hasn't been playing well in the playoffs.

Why do you think he's a bad fit? What if tmac came back healthy, and Odom replaced Ron.

    Brooks
    Tmac
    odom
    Scola
    Yao
