good point. If the Lin trade isn't finalized maybe we could trade Lin+Dmo+filler to get Josh Smith and a pick. Then do a 3 team trade where we get Rondo, Pelicans get Asik, and Celtics get Pelicans pick+Pistons pick.

Really? Everyone was clamoring for him after we signed Howard last year. Short-term memories around here.

Am I crazy for not minding this? He'd be getting paid less than Dwight, Harden and Parsons. Rebounds extremely well, adds some amazing defense, passes the ball very well. The only down-side is his shooting, but c'mon, it's not like we aren't used to that with Jones bricking all his threes.

Everyone? No. He's not worth ruining all cap and roster flexibility. I'd rather roll with TJones.

To be honest this guy deserves the money. He can defend, rebound, block shots, protect the rim, and even stretch the floor for wide open buckets. I would take him if Detroit is looking to get out of his contract the bring back parsons. That or forget both and wait for love....next free agency.

Assuming he clears waivers, why not? Sign him for vet min, and if he sucks then just cut him.

His biggest problem is that he tries to shoot.

He's a veteran PF qho can spread the floor ala TJones at the least. Specially with Terrence injured and only for a vet min, I think you have to give him a try if you can.

If you have to give up one of dmo or tjones to acquire dragic, why not?

He's serviceable with upside on a good team. On a bad team, his downside is magnified. On a good team, he can be rotation player. Contract is always key.
