It's like josh smith yelled a bunch of f bombs at the Clippers and did his thing. I could only think of maxwell going crazy when we couldn't get dream going.
Sometimes Josh Smith tries to step up and looks terrible and yet keeps trying to step up and its to the detriment of our team (and to other teams, as he displayed in detroit) but then other times he steps up and brings it. Sometimes he looks like the 3rd star that we really want and need to really move on. this game he looked like that 3rd star. i hope next game he steps up and looks like that star again. we will win if so.
Chronicle needs to include Clutch City signs in Sunday's paper. They need to have em' at the game too along with shirts.
It is very reminiscent of that Game 3 in Phoenix in 1994. The Rockets were down big early in that one and it looked like a sweep was in the making. But Maxwell just went insane in that 2nd half. Something to consider in this series. Game 2 saw the Clippers go up big(13 early in the 3rd) and it looked like things were unraveling. But the Rockets fought back with Harden on the bench. A very similar situation played out in Game 6 only to an even greater degree and on the road with the season on the line.
Josh Smith is a better human being and Rocket than Vernon Maxwell ever was or will be. Josh Smith has never quit on the Rockets. Josh Smith loves the Rockets and the city of Houston.
