    Is there a thread going about Josh Smith's demand yesterday to Atlanta he be traded by the dead line? As he has always been a popular target on the board for us to acquire, I figured I would see a thread going about him wanting out. If there is a thread, merge this in.

    Should be in NBA Dish. The Rockets have shown no interest in aquiring Josh Smith.

    HOWEVER, this is the sort of "out of left field" deal that Morey tends to surprise everyone with on trade deadline day. The most obvious moves almost always never happen, and they play their hand very close to the T.

    That being said, I would be shocked if they aquired Josh Smith with no other deals in mind. He's not a franchise changing player, but he is a very good player who could help this team out if they were to aquire say... Pau Gasol. This team isn't going anywhere as Josh Smith being their best player.
