I think in the end even Lebron will fall short of MJ, but he'll probably go down as the greatest SF to ever play the game overtaking Larry Bird....so that's pretty awesome. MJ is the GOAT, but Lebron will be up there with him. Kobe isn't really even in the conversation no matter what Lakers fans want to convince themselves of.
that because he could not make it in the 80s while Lebron led potentially the worst supporting cast to finals ever (can argue the 00-01 sixers), 2nd one you right not excusable
Yeah, a lot of kids don't use their brains when they say things like that. If LeBron went to the finals every year with the Cavs and lost, it would be held against him. He should have lost in the first round instead so no one could use it against him in the future, lol. Kobe wasn't even the best player on his team for 8 years. This argument is invalid. Which other top-20 player can you even say that for?
lbj is top 2 all time players only for media who gets salary from nba office, or for someone who doesn't know anything about basketball,if he deserve 4 mvps then wilt should have won at lest 8 mpv.if judges can call all travels, floops to lbj he wouldn't score more then 20 ppg.
Who exactly did he go thru that year in the East besides the washed up Pistons? The east was a joke then and still is
Exactly. The NBA needs to have a poster boy, and ESPN needs ratings. They both will make sure Lebron will be exploited every second of a 24 hour day. Damn shame
That's an exaggeration. I agree he doesn't quite measure up but he is at least 90% the player MJ was. I'd say that's close. If Lebron stays healthy and plays 20+ seasons you might be able to make the argument that he had the better career even if his peak abilities weren't quite on par.
