If Hill's improved play raises his value and gets us something good back in a trade, I wouldn't call that part of the curse And isn't Hill bigger and better suited for playing C than Ppat? Even if Ppat starts to play well, it won't necessarily make Hill redundant.
I have a friend who works at Sullivan's in Austin who works with a waitress who says she got nailed by Jordan Hill. She said he is (and I couldn't make this up even if I wanted to) as big as this... Spoiler That EXACT comparison lol!

4 when you count Vasillis Spanoulis' mother. She's tired of her son sleeping on her couch all the time. He doesn't cook or clean or keep after himself at all. What a deadbeat!
We are a team short on height and athleticism. Hill is on a rookie contract, which means he's artificially cheap. He's also on a steep learning curve, while picking up increased minutes, showing he can board, block shots, and put a few baskets in the bucket. Put all that together with the fact that big men really come into their own around age 25, the only reason to trade him is if we can use him to land a superstar. No way in hell they trade him for Varejao. Makes no sense.
Actually, do you mind changing your sig? DDingleberry just evokes some pretty disturbing scatological images for me. Seriously. I know you're using the term to describe people who bash you, which is understandable since you do take a lot of flak. But the term is just a bit nasty.

LOL I feel bad for DD. Its just the internetz but I'm sure its irritating when the entire forum piles on him for no reason. Anyway IMHO the Jordan Hill trade basically gave us our big man of the future. I see multiple all star appearances in his future with the way he's been progressing. He's just 23! And this is just his first summer camp with CD. Now if only we can get a shotblocking C to complement him in the paint....
They do it because they want to be me...it is quite obvious.... hehe...not......but I do get the blame, when it is always someone else making it about me... I agree, but at some point I would like to see PPat and JHill on the floor at the same time. DD
J Hill has become one of my favorite players. It's pretty exciting to think about his potential, especially considering how well he is playing against opposing centers. When he starts getting big minutes playing against smaller 4s he's really gonna shine.
Hill is my favorite player, but I'd trade him for value. I think his value is either the 4th overall pick, or Hill plus a 1st-rounder for Cousins. And, to be honest, I might prefer to keep him instead of trading for Cousins. Call it comfort level.
He is still very inconsistant. Still too many moments where he is invisible in the game and has no impact what so ever. But yeah he is improving gradually, which is great to see.
