    Yeah, the timing of this is a bit curious.

    We know Hill some sort of personal issues, but how come he got charged just now after a couple of good games with the Lakers?

    Seems odd.

    Personal Issues= He grew up in a inner city foster care system with a large number of "family members" who are now coming out of the woodwork asking him to bail them out of their financial problems, and alot of those issues. Who knows what those issues are stemming from.

    Everyone around the Rockets organization always had great things to say about him as a person and acknowledge his rough family life continues to be a burden in his personal life.

    The DA wouldn't think of charging him if there wasn't something there (some kind of evidence)......that does not mean this ever goes to trial or anything like that though.

    Wow, Morey is Machiavelli. The old Italian guy, not the hologram.

    Can't believe we got a pick out of this and we're screwing with the Lakers. Would've been awesome to have made the playoffs and match up w/ the Lakers.

    I remember that the decision to not pick up options on our '09 scrubs, they took a little longer to announce a decision on Jordan Hill. And, I wondered if maybe this incident was around then and may have tipped them toward not picking up his option. But, no -- in case anyone else was wondering -- that decision was announced Jan 25th. So this February incident would be after that.
