I am really tired of this asset flipping. We trade for people and then we get rid of them. Not once, not twice, but all the time ... . I get the Harden trade and DH signing were amazing, but can we at least sign some other players and try to keep 'em. It's not like we have achieved anything, really.
Speaking of Toronto...can you guys believe that Lowry and Dragic once played together on the same team, and that team was the Houston Rockets? I'm just saying...
Sigh If T-Mac (and/or) Yao hadn't broken down that team would have went ALL the way....scary how we coulda have won the chip with either
There are LOTS of reason why we trade for trash: - We are not sure they are trash and want to find out for cheap - We are trading trash with bad contracts for trash with manageable contracts - We need trash to match salaries or to take back bad salaries - We need to fill out a roster for "depth" There are a ton of other reasons, but these jump out at me immediately. Either way, trading away trash should never be an issue.
Please, guys like Jordan Hamilton, Jordan Hill is sevicible, and not trashes. Morey didn't trade for them for the reasons you mentioned. How about Lowry, Dragic? All you said may be true somehow, but I don't see "We need to build a basketball team" in there.
