    It seems to me that the East is almost a different league than the West. In the East, since the demise of the Pacers, you are almost never punished for running small ball. Chicago and Indiana may be the only exceptions. In the West, going up against a half dozen different teams, if you cannot go big you are going to be crushed. Expect no change from Toronto's coaching staff because what they are doing works in the East.. Expect them to to do poorly against the West powerhouses. You got screwed.

    A lot of the teams in the East have significant size up front:

    Chicago - Taj, Gasol, Noah
    Washington - Nene, Gortat
    Brooklyn - Lopez, Garnett, Plumlee
    Atlanta - Horford, Millsap
    Charlotte - Jefferson
    Detroit - Smith, Monroe, Drummond

    There are only a few teams in the NBA that employ small ball and there are some of them in the West (Phoenix for example). East will get punished by the West not because of size but because the East is just worse than the West.

    Idk what guy you're lookin at.. listed at 240 maybe he's gained 30 lbs since entering the league? That's good size for a center
