I'm glad he's personally happy. That is SO HILARIOUS.

 

I thought he had to lose the weight for 21 jump street? Might just be a personal choice too.

 

He's really got his rodney dangerfield face down pat.

 

Wasn't he upset that the only movie offers he got was for fat comedy relief side kicks? I thought that's why he got skinny.

He wants serious parts. Like Johnny Depp.

'Superbad' star Jonah Hill loses 40 pounds for movie role

Jonah Hill says losing over 40 pounds for a new movie role hasn’t been “the most fun endeavor I’ve ever took in my life.”

The 27-year-old “Get Him To The Greek” star looked incredible Wednesday night in Los Angeles at the ESPY Awards, appearing slimmer and much healthier than ever, reports USA Today.

Hill presented the award for best game at the sports-themed ceremony and to promote his upcoming baseball film, “Moneyball,” with Brad Pitt.

But Hill had reportedly been on a diet since December in preparation for his part in the new film, “21 Jump Street,” a remake of the 1987 TV show that starred Johnny Depp and Holly Robinson Peete.

He hired a nutritionist and a personal trainer to help him with the transformation.

Last week, the buzz wasn’t only about Prince William and his wife, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, attending the BAFTA’s “Brits to Watch” event in downtown Los Angeles.

Hill turned heads on the red carpet, but admitted to the Los Angeles Times that losing weight “is not fun.”

"I wouldn’t say it’s the most fun endeavor I’ve ever took on in my life, but it’s important,” he said. “If I eat something unhealthy now, I kind of feel a little weird and my body hurts."

In my previous post I screwed up and thought the picture said "March 2011", so i thought it was a 4 month time frame...but its from 2010. That makes it even less surprising. Youre looking at an average of 2-3 pounds lost a month.

Also, he's been bigger than what he is in that March 2010 picture, so some sites are using pictures that are from over a year and half ago to make the comparison. It looks like he's been steadily losing weight for a very long time now. I guess he just hadn't been seen much lately.

 

Are people really s***ing on him for losing weight and getting healthier...even if it was for a movie role?

If he seems less funny to you because he's thinner, I'm thinking you're the one with the problem...not him.
