Nah Johnny is kicking himself. There are a ton of current athletes partying balls and managing to stay out of the limelight. Hell Gronk maybe partying harder than Johnny right now yet its not all over Twitter, snap chap, or any of that stuff. Be a professional first and foremost and a lot of people will stop caring as much. At the very least, hire someone to make sure cameras don't get shoved into his face. More than half of the stuff being posted is him dancing and boozing for the camera.
But they were all kick-ass players. Johnny is a bust on the field, and even more of an embarrassment off the field.
The real difference is that those guys didn't let their partying overly influence their play on the field. Johnny is a bust on the field, more than likely due to his issues off the field. This story won't end well.
I get the sense that he's purposely trying to party himself out of the NFL. He's likely been one of those kids that was pushed from an early age from over aggressive parents looking to live vicariously through their kid and is now burned out. He's never had any real consequences in his life and now that he does, he'd rather take the path of least resistance. I'd honestly be surprised if he's anywhere near an NFL team beyond this season.

There are still people in Houston who think Vince young hasn't gotten a fair chance. I'm sure there's plenty of Manziel fans who say he hasn't gotten a fair shot as well.
I think that was the case with Marinovich given the severity of his addiction and all his grousing about his dad after the fact. I think a lot of successful athletes are pushed this way by their parents, though, and still embrace it because it ironically provides quality time, structure and purpose while garner all the social rewards that kids otherwise typically get through rebellion or subterfuge. Manziel strikes me more like a Jim McMahon type who drank like a fish and openly mocked pretense and authority going all the way back to BYU, but could turn it on come game time; it's just that pro strategy has gotten so insanely complex and demanding in the last 25 years that a rookie quarterback has to give 100% focus while providing results that justify their now obscene salaries.
What a Clown-ey.......that draft. Guess we'll have to continue to wait and see what happens with the picks.....
LOL @us trying to think of something clever to say regarding Skip Bayless, Clowney, and someone being clown-ey/-ish. Great minds think alike.
