The only thing Rose and Wall have in common. Neither one of them can hit a jump shot. That is exactly why rose is unlikely to make it to a finals, because you can't drive on good defenses, at some point they are going to shut you down. The only way he makes it to the finals is if he starts getting the Jordan treatment.
I think he can be amazing if he can cut down on the turnovers and bad shots. His speed and vision are great.
That's not true at all. Rose is silky smooth yet is incredibly strong with his dribble penetration, he is more like a SG like Wade with his scoring ability. Wall on the other hand is more like a Chris Paul type PG, a capable scorer who looks to pass first a lot of the times. He's also a very good rebounder and defender.
The only thing both Rose and Wall have in common is that they have very similar measurements across the board. But game wise (like its been posted before) Wall is more of a pure point guard, and Rose more of a score first guard like Russell Westbrook.
If you truly believe Kyrie Irving will surpass John Wall, you are indeed sorry. But I see what you did.
Kyrie Irving is on a different level. Wall and Rose are just athletic specimens blessed with adequate point guard skills. Kyrie Irving is a cerebral player with all the necessary physical and mental attributes and the potential to become one of the greatest players of all time.
Rose will always be better than Wall. wtf are you talking about? Rose took and hit plenty of jump shot's last season. He was definitely an improved shooter. You obviously haven't watched Rose at all last season if you don't think he can hit a jump shot. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/EvP9KIzVFnY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Sincerely, Actually, I'm pretty sure it's the other way around. Those who have the most chance of being a superstar have the higher chance to be the first pick.
Yeah... that's why I said most superstars. Busts always exist but you can't deny that simple fact. And there is no difference between what you and I said. Most superstar potential = first pick....
Exactly. This is definitely a golden age in NBA perimeter player talent - all I'm asking for is one or two other highly talented and skilled centers, and this period of basketball would be simply incredible to watch. If Yao played last season or next season, the NBA would be pretty much complete.
Yes, you obviously did not watch Rose last season. His game and jumper has improved. Did MVP not mean anything to you? Have you forgotten about this game? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_V-zqQ8Zio8
Even if true, Washington's going to need more than Wall taking that next step or even two to make the team relevant. Chris Paul might be able to carry New Orleans in the regular season, but that just doesn't fly in the playoffs. Chicago has got a pretty good team, and a great defensive coach. If they can get a legitimate second scoring option/SG to space the floor, they'll be set for a long time. Washington's going to have to improve in a lot of areas to match up there. They only won 23 games last season, and that was in the already-soft Eastern Conference.
John Wall looks like a little kid, so its easy to forget he has great size for the position. He's a tad bigger than D Rose and Russell Westbrook. And he packs all their same skills. Though Rose has the more fluid body control of them all.
