Other than the last 4 point shot I didn't see much that Johnson did to impress. Now Abdul-Rauf is doing pretty good for an 80 year old
small ball trumps joe Johnson.... small ball trumps carmelo anthony eric Gordon conract extention was bigger than mike dantoni...the only positive thing to happen in august!
seeing Joe Johnson ball out against washed former players these past few weeks has actually been pretty fun...he’s so skilled and has all these little tricks or slight maneuvers to create shots
Too bad it won't work against NBA defenses as much and he's a liability on defense, which is why all the great shooters or bigs in the Big 3 will not come back.
Harden, Westbrook and Durant should make a Big3 team after they retire. They can play one season, win the championship and their team name should be the “Coulda Beens”
They interviewed Joe on SiriusXM's NBA channel today and asked him what went wrong in Houston and why he didn't get any playing time in the playoffs, and he said he wasn't sure. He did everything asked, kept an open dialogue with coaches, Harden, and CP3, etc. He also said that how that season ended may have put it in people's heads that since he didn't really do anything in the playoffs, people think he's done and can't play anymore. He did add he holds no hate for the Rockets organization and he loves Mike D'Antoni. He seems like a solid dude. Of course, a couple of those clowns (I believe Evan Cohen is one) are suggesting the Rockets are somehow to blame for his suckitude while here (ignoring the fact his skills were in free-fall before he got to the Rockets). Unfortunately, this isn't the entire interview, and it's really missing the part where he said he wasn't sure what happened with the Rockets : Another clown ignoring the fact that Melo didn't work with OKC and nobody else wanted him after the Rockets, at least to this point :
