Candidate must be autonomous, energetic, very organized, a multi-tasker, capable of prioritizing opportunities, and meeting deadlines. Candidate will attend and present at tradeshows and events with partners to generate leads. Candidate will work closely in a team with a Sales Engineer and Customer Service Representative. Candidate will target the following market segments: • Enterprises looking for high availability production cloud environments or reliable and cost effective Disaster Recovery Solutions • SMB’s looking to outsource their server and desktop environments to a private cloud • SaaS Companies, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), VAR’s and System Integrators • Other Emerging Internet Technology companies Duties: • Prospect and sell the company’s Cloud Solutions by developing strong relationships and approach with a consultative manner. • Manage and grow existing account base. • Attend and present at tradeshows, user groups, and other lead generating events. • Establish and maintain good public relations and networking within the community and partners to develop new business. • Ability to effectively learn technical products, services and solutions and readily apply new knowledge. • Use and exhibit presentations to convey the benefits of outsourcing to clients and prospects. • Must be able to follow a sales process, identify pain points and budget, present a solution, address objections and drive the sales to a close. • Must be able to manage a sales pipeline and provide weekly status updates. Characteristics of the Candidate • Ability to project a professional, highly ethical and corporate presence. • Experience with any of the following desirable: Cloud Computing, Virtualization, Enterprise Software, Enterprise Networking, SAN Storage, VMware, EMC, Citrix, and Cisco. • Ability to develop relationships at every level to get to the decision-maker. • Ability to work in a team environment and with other partners when necessary. • Positive and winning attitude. • Proven ability to listen, extrapolate information and leverage resources to effectively provide solutions to address customer needs. • Possess business acumen and an understanding of industry trends. • Ability to position the company’s unique value proposition relative to competitors and with an emphasis on quality of solutions and service. • Highly motivated professional with excellent communication, presentation, and inter-personal skills. • Ability to handle an active schedule and stay in touch. • Demonstrated consistent sales ability. • Self motivated with the ability to effectively work autonomously with minimal management direction.
