I'm watching the replay on my DVR and Watt looks nearly unblockable. He made Jake Long (top 3 LT in this league) look foolish on a few plays. He was in the backfield a ton. Also, Barwin was about half a second too late or he'd have had like 3 sacks today. Manning had a hell of a game.

And this is after taking the last 6 weeks off due to his elbow injury.

And Watt is almost essentially double-teamed nearly every play (which is what you kinda want with the 3-4, so that the OLB have a better shot at the QB)... and yet he's still back there every play.

matt schaub will never be elite is debatable, kevin walter is the 5th option i'll give you that. but stating Watt is just very good? talk about selling someone short.

What more does Watt have to do for you to consider him great? It just sounds like you're being stubborn for the sake of being stubborn. Everything he's done in the past 18 games as a Texan has been great. There is no debate about that.

So what you're saying is you come into threads that aren't relevant to your flame-bait posts and proclaim your opinion for all to see anyways.

    Very DaDakota-esque.

My wife even said, while watching the game, "They should call him Swatt!"

    I said, "They already do....kinda."

Anyways, I don't think I've ever seen Mario Williams be as dominant as Watt was yesterday. Not for that much of a game, at least. Mario will be regretting his decision come January and February.

My wife's in game commentary is somewhat less...professional. It usually involves which parts of JJ's body she would like to lick.

Still, it's nice that she's watching football.

if he stays healthy and continues on like this, he will be a candidate for DPofY.

Oh yeah, I know how that goes. Before the Swatt comment, she called him, "Jiggly _Watt."

Yep. What a steal at 11. Watt > Aldon Smith.

It was a half a sack for each of them. If you watch closely, Smith is at Tannehill's ankles.

Antonio smith and watt to me r the two best dline combo in the whole league. JJ mite already be the best because he does so much on the feild. Everybody knows that's he's an elite pass rusher but he's great on run defense and his tip passes r insane, I have never seen a d line men get his hands on that many footballs in his first 17 games he's very special. Cush and Kareem can think watt for there picks plus he damn near intercepted one himself. That's three tip s that resulted in 2 picks. Iv been watching football for a long time and this kid could be one of the best to ever play. When it comes time to pay mr watt hea going to become the highest paid defender in league history. As long as we got watt and smith on opposite sides with Cush behind him the texans defense will always be good.
