Hickson isn't that good of a player. Probably 4th-5th best player with Blazer. Why would you want that from a lottery team?

    Hickson just isnt that good.

I would love to have Amir Johnson, who is probably the best player from Raptors. He is Raptors' Asik Omer. Extremely underrated, good rebounder/interior defender who can play PF and C and still young at 25.

He is Morey type of player who plays way above his contract value ($6-7M). Amir is not a big name but always bring A game every night and will fit in nicely w/ our current core.

Knowing how incompetent BC is, if somehow we can't land top notch PF, Morey just might can flip some assets for him.

One thing I know: Raptors fans will go nuts if it happens!

Agreed. Amir Johnson or Ed Davis would be a nice pick-up.

I hate that guy. He's one of those mediocre players who always looks like a star against the Rockets. No thanks.

Then there are those nights where you're disgusted with small-ball versus your ex-players who brought their A-game...

    HOU total rebounds = 43 [ Delfino - 8 (31:06 min), Asik - 7 (14:08 min), Parsons - 4 (40:22 min), Smith - 3 (14:24 min), Jones - 4 (28:59 min) ]

    PHX Scola - 15 (26:51 min), Dragic - 5 (35:45 min)

A writer I follow on Twitter who's a big Portland fan is not a JJ fan. Basically says his best skill is padding stats.

I had hopes for him in Cleveland when Lebron took him under his wing but it never panned out.

Has become a poor defender. I would pass. I think it is quite possible one of our existing options can develop into a player as good or better.

If McSnail would have played Jones earlier during the season, this question would not have asked.

I'd rather have Brandan Wright. Long, freaky wing-span, athletic, SHOT-BLOCKER. Every time I've seen him play this year I've been impressed. I noticed he also has a soft-touch, can rebound and a decent baby hook shot as well. His footwork and mechanics are pretty good as well. If he can continue to stay healthy and add some more size he could be really good. He can probably be had for relatively cheap as well.

8.4 points on 60.2 percent shooting, 4.1 rebounds, 0.4 steals and 1.2 blocks while playing only 18 minutes per game. He should definitely be getting more burn.

Some players get more minutes and put up better stats at the expense of winning or being effecient or put up empty stats like (JJ Hickson) but I think Wright can realistically put up 15 points/9 boards/2 blocks and a steal if he got about 30 mins without being a burden or ball stopper conducive to winning. Wright knows his role and plays within himself and I see a lot of Asik in him in terms of ability to put up bigger numbers and play well with a larger role. He just needs that chance.

I mentioned we could have Wright for relatively cheap. I'd rather pick up Wright for a fraction of the cost of say someone like Josh Smith and save the big bucks and push as hard as you can for a LEGIT 2nd Superstar like CP3, Dwight this summer or LBJ, Wade, Melo in 2014.
