    Nowitzki

No you don't want this to happen. Dirk is aging quickly and we can use those 3 options and 1 more guy such as Nick Johnson or Prigioni maybe to Denver for Lawson.

How amazing would it be if the Mavs lost all of those guys AND whiffed on DeAndre Jordan, Wesley Matthews, and LaMarcus Aldridge?

Mavs fans would lose their minds...

    #chemistry

Rondo wasn't the only one who sensed issues, he was the only one to act on them.

Nothing you are hearing about in regards to free agents is official till the moratorium ends in 7(?) days. IIRC, July 10th is the day.

My understanding is the paperwork is filled out and sitting in the league office. I can't recall anyone reneging on an moratorium agreement. Be very bad form, because I think the purpose of these moratorium agreements is so the players relax and go on vacation, the agent can focus on his other clients, and the teams can start looking for other FAs.

Also, doesn't it have to do with the league salary-cap accounting isn't done, yet, so no deals can be official until the new numbers come out. That might be the only reason for the delay, with all t's crossed and i's dotted, except for the "does it fit under the cap" part, and how much money is the contract official for.

You are right of course on all points, but he asked it they were "official", which, for whatever the reasons may be, they are not yet.:p

    1. Take massive pay cut to increase odds of team success.
    2. Watch team sign one guy, a 3rd or 4th banana, with most of the savings.
    3. Watch every other good player leave.
    4. Watch career end, underpaid, with a cellar-dwelling team.
