Jimmy Carter: Media tougher on Trump than any other president in memory

The Donald declared war on the media early in the primaries, not vice versa. They certainly have counterpunched in response, but so would pretty much everybody else. They've responded with more restraint than he's ever shown in his life.

His lack of foresight in biting the hand that feeds him is remarkably consistent and even emblematic. The Donald never has encountered an obstacle that he didn't immediately make 10x worth with his bluster and his tough guy act.

 

I get it from the fact that he isn't stupid and even if he was he has been given ample feedback for even a single celled organism to learn that he would get far less criticism if he just shut up. He obviously doesn't care what kind of attention he is getting as long as the spotlight is on him.

 

I think he cares a lot. Hence any news organzation critical of him is labeled 'fake news'.

The amount of time he spends on Twitter attacking individuals who criticize him shows that he cares.

 

It shows that he cares about the attention (and distraction) it creates...

If this is truly what the media and left think about Trump... you are looking at 8 years not just 4.
