Which team made it to the Super Bowl first?

If the Oilers stayed in Houston, then the Oilers would have been there first.

We still have no idea if the Texans will go. it's still early dude.

    Name Oilers > Name Texans

Oilers never went 4-0 in 47 years. SMH them leaving to Nashville was the best thing to ever happen for Pro Football in Houston. It's time to move on from that loser team.

Sounds like Tinman is a fan of Bud Adams since that is the only connection left from the Houston Oilers.

Music City Miracle would never have worked in Houston. The Titans would have never made it past the first round that year. That franchise had a mental block here that was not expunged until they left to Tennessee. It's the best thing that happened to George, McNair, Fisher, etc....

From a financial perspective it would have been a lot cheaper to have kept them. Reliant Stadium was a terrible deal for the city.

But it allowed us to get rid of the owner, so it was worth every penny. For those under 35, you have no idea just how ####ed up that franchise was.

    Good riddance!

Well, we don't want Sanchez to "get it together against the Texans. I expect him to be running for his life. The "Bulls" will "bring it," count on it.

Man I hope they don't start tebow. Can you imagine? Monday night football in New York in front of the whole country? God on his side? I just hope the rest of the team is bad enough to prevent things from getting weird.

Why do we have people arguing about a Tennessee football franchise.

Go Texans! Can't wait till Monday.

    That isn't saying much.

George was one of the most overrated players I've ever seen.

...was never an Oiler. JevOn Kearse wasn't either.

For a "fan" you sure don't seem to know much about them.

There is one man and one man only responsible for the Oilers leaving Houston...Bud Adams.

However, if you just absolutely have to pretend that poor, poor put-upon Bud Adams did everything he could to keep them here; so much so that you have to revise history and blame anybody besides Bud Adams; Les Alexander needs to be at the top of your list for refusing to allow himself and the Back-to-Back NBA Champion Rockets become Bud's peons.

Plainly and simply, if Bud had wanted to stay, he would have agreed to the fully-funded, open air, football-only stadium Lanier offered him (we'll forget for a moment that Lanier offered this despite the fact that Bud had broken every lease he ever signed in Houston, insulted and alienated every single civic official, business entity and fan in the city and county and never invested a single penny into the team or any venue that he played in) instead of trying to force Les into becoming his tenant in what would have become a laughingstock of a facility simply so, Bud would have somebody to lord over and extort money from.

Any real Houstonian making excuses for Bud Adams and continuing to root for that abomination of a franchise after he waddled off to Nashpatch is simply a moron.

BC the football gods give a **** what is said on a basketball web forum. You guys have to lighten up. You aren't that important to jinx a sports team that millions of people like.
