Just wanted to let yall know of a good travel deal... Got a roundtrip Austin to New York for $160 (weekend too!). Plenty of good fares to be had. Deal expires soon. It is theoretically supposed to be $50 off a round trip, but if you book the flights as one ways separately, you can get $100 off a round trip. I would book soon, because JetBlue may catch on at any minute.

    Go to http://www.JetBlue.com/promo

    Promo Codes are:

    8W2DQ3S4
    8MB93DZE
    8W2DQ3S4

All reusable. Must book by 9/14/12

thanks for the tip, I was debating to go to NY/NJ for the Texans/Jets MNF game on 10/8. Priced from 10/2 - 10/11 for $196, not bad, compared to $240 at Southwest during the same period.

FYI, first check in back is free, nice incentive there....

****! I was invited by one of my former bosses to a netwroking event in SF and decided not to book last night because I wasn't 100% sure I was going to go. I ****ed up! Anyone know of any other good deals? I'm looking to fly Wednesday night and return either Thursday night or Saturday night.

FYI, $50 off each way trick isn't working anymore, if u do round trip, they'll give u $50 off total, $25 each way.

    but....

the $30 code still works each way

    deal ends at midnight

Does this go directly to NY or you have to stop somewhere else and take another plane? Cuz I really hate flying.

Hmm, how could they tell if you booked both flights separately on diff browsers w/ diff codes, then at the checkout screen, submit it at the same time?

it was a glitch in their system as the original poster said, it was suppose to be codes for roundtrip fares, but if you did 1 one way tickets, it would give u the $50 discount each way, totaling $100 savings. They found the glitch, so if u try the $50 code on a one way, it'll only show $25 discount, but if you do the $30 I posted above, that still works for $30 discount each way, doing 2 one way tickets (one to JFK, one back to Hobby), totaling $60 discount.

Gotcha. Relatively fast response time. Wonder what software/team they're using.

yea, it was weird that it stop working for the $50 codes, but worked for the $30 codes. It worked this afternoon around 2pm, people on slickdeals reported the $50 didn't work around 5pm, so they were late catching it.

Booked my flight to JFK 10/2-10/13, $183 round trip, $30 more than this morning, but oh well. Now to find 10/8 Texans/Jets MNF tickets. :)
