Have to be really creative to criticize a vet min signing that has won a ring, can still produce in limited minutes, is going to be the third option, and brings in some locker room leadership. Oh, and still keeps alive the possibility of sticking it to the Mavs once again. We thought watching Jet do that JET after he made threes was irksome.........when he was in his prime. The Mavs have to watch and bear it from an Uncle Drew.
The only thing that could make this season better for me would be for Smoove to crap it up or get into it with Paul and/or Griffin and get cut from the Clippers while we make a 2 for 1 swap of Jones & Thornton for a legit 2-way backup SG behind Harden. Smith gets resigned to man our backup 4 spot and we roll to a Championship!
I literally hated this guy a year ago, I cant believe how fast i grew to love him, i'm glad he's back. I think he gives this team the final vision of us hoisting that trophy. I our team thinks it can get it done without him, but JET adds the belief to everyone else on the bench that We WILL get it done and this is the year to do it. GO ROCKETS! I'm beyond excited about this season man

I think there will be a 2-1 or 3-1 or 3-2 trade eventually, to get it down to 15. I wouldn't be totally surprised if Jones and one of the rookies were going to be involved. Happy about Jet.

Terry always said he wanted to part of a coaching staff after retirement, I hope they hire him in Houston when he does.
I would guess that he'll end up as part of the Mavs staff when he retires. There was a decent chance he would've ended up signing back with Dallas if DeAndre Jordan hadn't changed his mind.
