    oh, i'm savvy! :)

that's why i said all of this might change with a big trade.

my point was only that adding Yao to this current bunch without a big trade does not equal title contender.

Yeah I don't think anyone realy thinks we are. If Yao comes back strong (big IF) I think we could be really, really, good. But I'm not sure about legit title contenders.

Even Morey has agreed with the sentiment that just adding Yao won't make us true contenders when discussing the topic in post-season interviews. He knows we need another all star caliber player and has implied that it's more a matter of who we will aquire rather than if there will be a trade.

Yao helps but Morey stated that they don't expect him to play a lot of minutes starting out. They are slowly going to bring him into the fold. With that said, this team needs another big body.

Cuban spent all that money and it enabled the Mavericks to win two more playoff games than the Rockets did this year.

    Silly, silly Cuban

    That's Cuban's money.

Fans love to see more wins.

Last season, the rockets got more wins in the regular season, and more wins in the playoffs than the mavs. and more wins in the playoffs than the spurs too.
