I'm just going to say it. And I mean it with a full heart. This thread sucks.

Do to his contract, he will bring negative value to any team. We would have to give up a solid player for a team to eat his contract.

Pretty sure absolutely nobody credible was saying that. But it's fun to get angry at non-existent enemies, right?

Realistically, Lin's most passionate and knowledgeable fans would've wanted around 15 pts and 7 assists.

But he's not getting starter's minutes, so those expectations are useless now.

What's interesting is that Gary and Jeremy had already identified that he had a habit of getting into trouble by jumping with nowhere to go. That was almost two years ago, yes? Long standing habits are the toughest to overcome. He knows better and I'm sure he works on correcting it. But when the pressure is on and it's a split second decision it's very easy to fall back on a habit. Human nature.

Lin just won an important game by his clutch defense.

He had some good defensive stands toward the end of the game, although he almost made a relatively costly error by ball watching, leaving Rivers open for a 3.

I thought it was interesting how complimentary he was of Lin's ball-handling.

Good to play Blazers. Lin shut down Lillard in Portland when he started.

He just gets burned on the PNR. It's like all the teams know that.
