**** the Knicks. Lin did the smart thing, Artest has the luxury of having already made his fortune and pretty much being a step or two from retirement. Lin was on a scrub contract and was still very young so he did what was best for him.

Geez ppl still not getting it.

I think you are confusing when you are allowed to play normal non NBA level sports again (6-12 weeks) to when you make a full recovery with your knee's performance, which can take several months to never. Jeremy Lin is reported to have recently recovered 100% of his knee's performance.

It all depends on the location of the tear and whether they just trimmed it. Being able to run is different from competing in NBA. It's funny some people blaming others for protecting themshelves...

Man, it's better to shut up when you do not know what you are talking about.

I had this injury myself from playing basketball. While every meniscus injury is called the same here, they are many different type of injury, each has a different treatment and recovering time. BTW: If it is not treated properly, there is a high chance of developing severe problems in the knee when one gets old.

So you are literally trying to blame someone for taking actions to make sure he does not need to walk with a cane when he gets older.

Had a torn meniscus myself and took nearly a year of rehab and cycling to even going back to the basketball court again. Had to shake off the fears of leaning on the repaired knee so i will give JLin the benefit of doubt.

Best part of it today, we're in the playoffs~!!!!!

The fact is, you have no idea about how long it takes to recover from a meniscus tear. You are just making things up to satisfy your need for pointing fingers at other people.

MWP is a freaking beast, u can't compare Lin's situation to MWP's situation. A more comparable situation would be when CP3 had a similar meniscus tear and surgery when he was 24 years old and CP3 plays the same position Point Gaurd too.

We can all agree CP3 is the best PG in the game today, and even he struggled when he came back from the meniscus surgery.
