Jeremy Lin to be bought out by Hawks, sign with Toronto

I have said elsewhere that I think his NBA career may be done...that the toll of his injury and his time off from playing might be too much to come back from at his age. I didn't realize that discussing a POV on a player constituted "riding his dick".

How much time do you spend on other team boards? You seem to know a lot about what goes on on them!

 

? My most recent posts about Lin were about telling people to stop bragging about Lin being in the Finals, because he's riding the bench and his NBA career might be coming to an end. And then I only returned when some Twitter guy's math was bad, saying Lin had 2x more Finals wins than CP3...otherwise, I've been spending my time in the NBA Playoff threads and threads that focus on the Nets. As far as I'm concerned, there's nothing more to be said about Lin until next season, and maybe not even that because there's a chance that he isn't able to sign with another team.

 

Your posts may be a little off sometimes, but I think this is a fair assessment of JLin's NBA career. It is pathetic for a fan base to scapegoat a role-player for so many years, strange obsession indeed.

If you wrap your life around a player like LOFs do, your self esteem is tied to the player sadly.

Which is why LOFs go around different websites, and not just their own, to defend him.

Because as Clutch himself said and proved on this site, LOFs see any criticism of Airemy as a criticism of themselves.

As I have said earlier, if you are going to live vicariously off of a player, at least try not to pick a scrub lol.

 

Fwiw, I don’t try to live vicariously through any athlete, and in particular have no interest in living vicariously thru someone who is so strongly religious as I am not even remotely religious.
