    It is what is buddy, every group has their novelty figure. if only they hadn't hyped him as a talent-- expectations would be lower. but then again, he might not be in the league and have a contract

    There are non-Asians in the video, but you need to look for them. The interviewer is white, one of the girls sitting on the other side of Lin from her cute Asian friend appears to be white. Some of the people in the backgrounds of scenes are white. However the video was shot by an Asian photographer, so he probably chose to use clips of women he found appealing.

    Sure a huge part of Lin's cult following is Asian(as seen in the Rockets preseason trip to Asia last year), but he also has a lot of non-Asian fans because of the underdog story of Linsanity. Just get on youtube and look for clips from his NYK days and you'll see fans of all colors.
